Kimberly LaBarge | President
Kim is an Enrolled Agent, a Public Accountant and a Certified QuickBooks Advisor (since 2000) with over 30 years of accounting experience. She holds a Bachelor’s of Science from Franklin Pierce University. She is a member of AICPA, the Vermont Society of CPAs, and BNI. Kim has been a Vermont resident since 1972. She presently lives in Wilder, VT with her husband of over 35 years and has 3 wonderful sons and 2 daughters-in-law and an awesome grandson.
Richard A. DeMerchant| Certified Public Accountant
Richard was a lifelong Rhode Island resident until 2018 when the mountains of New Hampshire called and he and his family relocated, think snow.
A 30-year career as a CPA integrated with a law school education, Richard was a chief administrative partner in a medium sized accounting firm responsible for personnel, partnership compensation, workload allocation and strategic planning. Attended Roger Williams University, School of Law nights and weekends then started a law firm while working through four tax seasons. Specialty is tax; individuals to corporations with trusts and estates mixed in. Awarded a Certified Valuation Analyst, a designation providing credibility before the courts, mainly Family and Superior.
In 2022, Richard joined our team and is still thinking snow.
Shirley Montagne, MBA | Staff Accountant
Shirley holds a Bachelor’s in Political Science from the University of Michigan and a Masters in Business Administration in Finance from Eastern Michigan University. She recently retired from Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center after 31 years as an accountant and cost analyst. She is also an adjunct professor for several area colleges teaching financing, accounting and Excel. Shirley lives in Corinth, VT.
Nancy Welles |Full-charge Bookkeeper
Nancy comes to us with over 25 years bookkeeping experience. She has several years’ experience working in public accounting and is well versed in QuickBooks Desktop and is a Certified QuickBooks Online Advisor. Nancy lives on a small farm in Brownsville, VT with her husband, Wayne, and enjoys gardening, chickens, and beekeeping.
Melissa (Mel) Williams |Full-charge Bookkeeper
Mel holds a Bachelor’s in Sociology and Spanish from UMass-Amherst. She resides in Fairlee, Vermont with her husband and two sons. In her spare time, Mel runs her own small bookkeeping business.
Vicki Lavigne|Bookkeeper
Vicki comes to us with 20 years of accounting/bookkeeping experience. She lives in Claremont NH with her husband James. She is QuickBooks Online Certified Pro Advisor. In the summertime, she enjoys going out in their boat for a relaxing ride and enjoys crafting and reading.
Melissa Cadreact|Administrative Assistant
Melissa has a Master of Arts Degree in Liberal Studies from Dartmouth College and a Bachelor’s Degree in English from Colby-Sawyer College. She is a published author, who continues to venture into creative freelance writing projects and tutors non-traditional college students when outside the office. She relishes her role as “Laoshi” (the Chinese word for teacher) when teaching students English as a second language. Most cherished by Melissa is her title role as “Bupie” to her grandson.
